Donald Innes opened his photography studio in Hessle in 1947. He spent his early career as a photojournalist and by the mid 1950's he headed up one of the most successful freelance photographic press agencies in the North of England.
Each of the pictures documented everyday life in Hull and the surrounding area, providing a unique insight in to people's lives during the 50's and 60's. The Donald Innes Heritage Collection has been lovingly restored and brought back to life on beautiful archive quality fine art paper by his son Ivor and the team at Innes.
Framed and unframed prints in various sizes are available from our sister website The Donald Innes Heritage Collection
